After many pandemic-related delays Holborn Studios 40th anniversary exhibition will open on the 16 June 2022. This is an exhibition on an epic scale – forty years of photography, 3 years in the making, and featuring 250 photographers and 1500 prints.

Holborn Studios is Europe’s largest photographic studio complex. Established in 1979 in Roger Street, Holborn, the company then moved to Clerkenwell and are now based down the road from Angel in Eagle Wharf Road, N1. Terence first shot there the year it opened, and returned numerous times over the following 15+ years, photographing models, actors, musicians and journalists. The 40th anniversary exhibition was originally due to take place in 2019.

The archive is delighted to be a small part of the celebrations – 12 photographs by Terence are on show including portraits of Grace Coddington, The Pet Shop Boys, Ian Dury and Don McCullin.

The exhibition is open to the public from tomorrow, Friday 17 to Sunday 19 June 2022 and is free. www.holbornstudios.com
